Hello MCC, we are back to refresh you on rule 17.

Penalty areas this pertains specifically to our golf course as you know because we play all native grasses as lateral penalty areas we have three options when taking relief after hitting our ball into these penalty areas option number one is stroking distance you may R from or re drop and rehid from where the original spot was with a one shot penalty you may take on the line relief which is I got the flag here that’s point of entry and back which is not a good point here because a good line of relief here because we are dropping in the grass so I’m going to take the lateral option which is two club links got my point of entry two Club LS I can drop anywhere within this area that ball is now in play I’m hitting my third shot here on number eight uh as always if you have any questions come talk to us in the golf shop your local PGA professional here to help look forward to seeing you all on the golf course very soon remember taking relief under 17.1 the three options thank you.
